Monte Duquesa is between Marbella and Sotogrande, on the Mediterranean Sea, 65 minutes from Malaga, capital of the Costa del Sol, and 20 minutes from Gibralta. Monte Duquesa complex is situated just off the main coast road (N340), 15 minutes west of Estepona town. The complex is constructed on an elevated site overlooking the golf course and the marina and with spectacular views of the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and the North African coast.
La Duquesa is served by two main airports, Malaga and Gibraltar. Malaga is the larger airport and is serviced by a large selection of carriers both scheduled and chartered. After landing in Malaga you have approx. 1hr 10min drive to Monte Duquesa along the main Costa del Sol motorway, a very direct journey. Cheap charter flights to Spain are widely available from the UK. Malaga is the cheapest destination from the UK. If you are unable to get a charter flight, there are daily flights from London although scheduled fares are a little more. You can also fly to Gibralta airport. This is closer to Monte Duquesa and is much easier and quicker to get through luggage collection / customs etc.
Monarch Airlines are a top class and good value airline that offer scheduled flights from Luton to Gibraltar twice daily. They also fly Gatwick to Malaga, Luton to Malaga, and Manchester to Malaga.
